This aspect of death defines what stands where others dont. It is the backbone of the underworld, the strengh behind the muscles without which nothing could be done. It is devotion, will, it is the path on which you decide to thread, the purpouse to find and the battles you chose to stand in. Bone incarnates the determination to achieve a goal and often the mental strengh to be able to.
“Bone does not falter, even when flesh gives way and soul fade away. It endures. Silent, patient, unyielding. In Bone is the memory of vows kept and burdens carried beyond life.” -Lazarus, Scriptures of the first aspect's chosen.
This aspect of death embodies what bounds you to this world, what reminds you that you are living. It needs no thinking and needs no permission. Flesh is all we feel spontaneously, the desires, the satisfaction, the pain. It is our senses incarnate and the expression of it is sacred. Each sight, each touch, each taste are blessings meant to bring you closer to the gift Death has made of you. Flesh is change, the maniability of one to wish for more, for better, for different.
"To embrace Flesh is to embrace becoming—a fleeting form shaped by longing, joy, and pain alike, molded by every touch of the world before dissolution.” -Eltora, Scriptures of the first aspect's chosen.
This aspect is all that remains. It is here and there and nowhere at once. It is free of burden, free of needs, free of constraints. It is the memory of what once was, and a thought to what will be. It is echos of how emotions boiled in reason. It is the voice in our heads questioning our choices without ever intervening. Soul is our mind, our memories. It is our past selfs and are current self deliberating over our future selfs. Soul is knowledge, not good nor bad, not useful nor useless. Soul is freedom, not just of shackles, but of all physical and metaphysical constraints.
“When knowledge is key, it is of Bone to wield. When knowledge is power, it is of Flesh to use. When knowledge is just knowledge, we hand it to Soul. And what will be done of this knowledge will be of no consequences.” -Demagora, Scriptures of the first aspect's chosen.
