Charcoal, black, and crimson hair. Crimson or brown of eyes. The dragoneers, also known as drakefolk, is an old culture who barely survived the greatest cataclysm of all Valklora. One of which raised islands to float, creating a haven for dracoids. They had only one choice to survive, tame the dracoids or die. They managed to somewhat rebuild their society, but its always on the verge of death. It is prophesized a Drakefolk will one day tame a dragon again, and start a new dynasty as a ruler in Valklora.

Estrian

Blonde, orange, or brown of hair. Blue or brown of eyes. Estrian is one of the oldest cultures in Valklora. Estria is nearly pure to its original roots and connections to their witches blood. They, on the other hand, are prone to constant raiding from Gælic and Sakai and truly fail at defending their existence as they show no will in forming a cohesive force. However, they excel at defending their people against untold creatures and dracoids from the drakisle.

Valk Frank

A society resilient and innovative, renowned for their communal ethos, they flourished during the second age and expanded their influence throughout Valklora and became the dominant culture, true to this day. None the less, they live in a heteroclite society that embraces and accepts diverse origins and beliefs of others, including none-humans. Rooted in their ideals is the belief that Valklora cannot truly be Frank unless Frank includes everyone. Today, they are known for their intellectual prowess, search of truth, and a deep rooted sense of community.

Gothic Frank

The Gothic Franks, an evolved branch of the original Frank culture, are an adaptive society known for their blend of tradition and innovation. They are more hardworking than philosophical, yet they remain innovative in their respective fields. Embodying the essence of chivalry, this spirit extends even to the lowborn, who uphold the values of honor, duty, and respect. Their commitment to hard work and practical innovation drives their success, while their adherence to chivalric principles ensures a community founded on mutual respect and shared values.

Gaelic

Red of hair. Blue and green of eyes. Gælic tilts towards tradition and unity, which often resolve into hatred towards outsiders. They think that their ancestors fight with them on their soil. Their culture is old and proud, dating since the second age, but shows no sign of witch blood nor nædran blood. The north was not always the region Gælics lived in, but wars they often started have forced them to recluse themselves to this cold land that we now call Gælie.

Heimlic

Bluish or orange of hair. Green or brown of eyes. Heimlic is a culture void of ambitions. Born in the second age, they warred against the Gælic until they were defeated. Their lifestyle in the island saved their culture, but also stagnated it to stay frozen in time. Their knowledge of the water made them esteemed sailing companions, and only since did their culture rise from their tomb.

Maefellen

Silver white or grey of hair and immaculate skin. Blue of eyes. Mæfellen is amongst the oldest culture of Valklora, although not born of witch blood like most other Valk cultures, they are born of the migrating Nædrans in the beginning of the second age. It is a culture which relied heavily on slaves to mine the precious minerals used for their great forges and in the search of new allow. Without the use of magic, they learned the power of a well made weapon and heavy armor early in their history.

Obranian

Blonde, grey, black or brown of hair. Blue, green or brown of eyes. Obranian culture is born from Frank and Mæfellen colonizers late in the second age who slowly gained their own culture. The region of Obrana is extremely wild or very clement which encouraged development of very large cities and extremely isolated and small villages. The Jungle of high Obrana also offered the Obranian knowledge from primitives who though them the old ways of the Valks witches. Contradiary to the Westrians who tamed and conquered the wilds, Obranian became wild.

Okkram

Orange, grey, blonde or brown of hair. Blue, green or brown of eyes. Okrams descent from Gælic raiders and sailors who claimed the wild islands of Okrum and colonized it. They than kept their knowledge of sailing through generation of pirates and raiders. The islands are very wild and Okram have very little respect for anything else than strength, making them the most hated and isolated culture in Valklora.

Sakyr

Blonde or brown of hair. Blue, brown or green of eyes. Sakai is a culture born form the desert of Sakyr, they say born from the sand in the beginning of the third age. Their settlements is disconnected and the Sakai are rarely united. They are none the less a culture who suffered many cataclysmic events and humbly resurfaced every time. The desert was once a burden, now a tool to the Sakai. That is not without their history of conquest, for they once crossed the Sakyr desert and exterminated many cultures in their ambitious expansions.

Steppes tribes

Black, brown, blonde of hair. Blue, green, brown of eyes. No one truly knows the origin of the steppes tribes for their nomadic nature made them an oral teaching culture. Until Frank and later Sakai colonized the steppes, there were jo cities in the entire regions. The tribes are almost in constant conflict with one another and sometimes even within the same tribe. Making then one of the most warrior oriented cultures of Valklora.

The Thiardans are a people of boundless curiosity and harmony, deeply connected to the rhythms of nature. They are a people defined by their warm, welcoming presence yet imposing, a force of nature. Flourishing since the Second Age, they have embraced a world of discovery and connection, blending their traditions with the influences of those they encounter. Their deep-rooted belief in the inherent goodness of others has fostered a society built on trust and acceptance, where diversity of origins, beliefs, and even species is celebrated. And this even after their history of betrayals and broken trusts. Known for their open hearts the Thiardans embody a spirit of kindness and generosity, standing as a beacon of peace and strenght in an world of danger.

Valyan

Brown or blonde of hair. Blue, green or brown of eyes. Pointy Ears. Valyan culture is a dying one. Born in the end of the second age, it lost its witch blood early. Once living in region called Valya, they were conquered and nearly exterminated by the invading Sakai armies. North Sakyr is now the most commonly known name of the region, but valyans dream of the day their mountain and forest settlements will provide enough to retake their pride.

Westrian

Black or grey of hair. Green or brown eyes. Westrian is the youngest culture in Valklora, born in the third age from Gothic stubbornness and lust to tame the wild. Adapting the earth and toxic grounds of Westria, purifying the land that can be and creating elevated cities to live safely. For thousand years, only those capable to withstand the horid nature of westria survived, making westrian some of the most resilient humans in the world.
